This is a view from a small island in the Tongass National Forest, near Ketchikan. My husband and I had just finished a rain forest hike and emerged from the forest to enjoy crystal clear skies and the beauty of near and distant islands along Alaska's Clover Passage. We learned that bright and sunny days are quite rare in Alaska!
